I tried the search function but no luck. I just bought the Eclipse 5435 and wanted to get it install. Unfortunately, i don't know any good installation shop here in S. Cali. Anybody have any suggestion? Thank you in advance.

 

I've recently started doing my own work, however, I would not recommend Gold Start Audio in Irvine. First they have cow if you don't buy from them, and even if you do buy from them, they way over charge for installation and do a sub par job. Last time I went there, they killed one of my DVD players (it worked when I gave it to them) and blamed me, poor wire routing, always had alternator whine (easy problem to solve) poor quality wiring when I paid for premium wire, and they took way to long because they try and work on 5 cars at one with 2-3 installers, not to mention that when you are dropping serious cash ($7500) in their store, you should be priority for installation, not some schmoe that wants a $100 ghetto box (brand X woofer and brand X Amp) added to their '94 stock civic. Avoid like the plague!! I have heard wonderful things on this board about Soundadvice (I think) in Mission Viejo. The person is also on this board and I believe his name is Rudy, and his shop has worked on several G's in the past.

I had a really good experience with Sound Advice in Mission Viejo (www.carsoundadvice.net)...try PM'ing Rudy (that's his screen name, also). I drove out from LA (about 100 miles round trip) and thought it was totally worth it!

This is a no-brainer: Sound Advice in Mission Viejo. These guys do G's all day long. Don't even think about going anywhere else. IMHO.

 

hehehehe.. i agree also.. got my whole trunk and car done there. They are pretty professional. they've done many Gs so they won't F up your car..

I also drove from LA. far drive but its good service.. can't complain... gonna be down there AGAIN this saturday sigh.. (nxt)
