2005 G35c Audio Advice?

well I've been out of the whole car audio business since '98 but I just bought a g35 coupe in march and I'm not ready to put in a good system but keep the head unit if I can (considering it goes with the interior). What do you recommend I am currently looking at getting some Focal Access 165As or the Boston Acoustic SL60s what do you recommend for that price range (300 to 400) for component speakers and 6x9 rears? Also have alot of you disconnected the speakers in the passenger door on your g35 coupe and did it help with the sound separation? I remember seeing a bunch of guys at my local G35 meet in the DC area with boston acoustics and they mentioned they frequent these forums. Anyway, any input you can give me would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

The pure audio speakers has not changed that much since 98. The changes have been in mostly multi-channel surround sound, DVD players, and nav systems. I personally like Audiobahn's premium line of speakers, but in the end its sort of a personal perference. I look at freq range and build quality at first and then I look at reviews and I try to find a demo somewhere.
