sorry to ask this, and i have searched and seen replies but not very clear on peoples answers. My question is can i install the 4080 sub box with the jl 10' sub and the jl 500/1 amp into my car with the stock g35 headunit (non Bose). If so, will it sound good with the stock head unit. I'am asking this because I wouldnt want to change the stock head unit because i want to retain the original look of the car.

The main question to this, is will the system sound clean with a good thump and will the stock head unit be able to handle that power?

Also, should i also change the stock speakers in the car so it will even out with the power output from the sub.....and if so, which ones should i change and what should I get.

First of all, there is nothing to be sorry about to ask a question!, will it sounded good? it kinda hard to answer tho, it certainly is loud enough for me with 10w7 with 500/1, I found myself trun it down a bit after while, and that s coming form last set-up of 3 10's with around 1000 watts , power will not go thru HUs so there is no problem with that....as far for other speakers? someone find that just change out the tweeters is good enoguh, and others have replace everything, it just gonna depend on your own teaste and budget.
