I am just wondering wherer you guy mount two amp (4 chanel & sub amp). The custom box from Mike wont leave enough space to mount the amps in the back seat. Anybody mount the amp underneat driver and passenger seat?
Thanks a lot in advance,

I put (a rather large) Infinity 7451a 4 channel amp in the space that used to be occupied by the old Bose amp. I created a mount from a thin piece of wood cut to the shape of the amp supported by three 2.5" x 2" x 2" wood legs to get it high enough so that it would fit. The top of the amp is flush with the bottom of the carpet. I also attached a 1.2F capacitor underneath the mount with the digital display sticking out so it can be easily read.
There is also room on the other side (where the jack tools are) for another amp. You can wrap the jack tools up in padding and just wedge it in front or behind the spare tire.

Will take some tonight and add into this post. My goal was to use space around the spare tire and not consume *any* usable trunk space - and I wanted to keep the spare. I managed to cram everything except the Basslink around the spare. As you can see, the top of the amp sits just flush with the "false floor". The amp has a thin wooden plank underneath it (bolted to it) and this wooden piece has 3 2x2 in legs to keep it elevated. There is also a metal "L" bracket between one of the wooden legs and one of the screw posts to keep the amp firmly locked down. You can see a similar wooden leg supporting the Alpine EQ in the pic.
Please note that the spare tire is not in the center of the trunk. I actually moved it back and to the right and secured it using one of the smaller peripheral holes rather than the center one. This gave some more clearance for the amp.

I have some conduit that I plan on using to clean up all that wiring in the pics above. Then I'll put 2 pieces of plexiglass and not use the standard carpet (just the premium carpet with the Infiniti G35 logo on it). It's pretty cool at night, everything glows blue (the amp, cap and carPC, which is on the right side). This is where you could fit another amp.
It might look like a mess of wiring, but there is wiring for carPC (VGA, GPS USB, DVD USB, Extigy USB, WiFi USB, OBDII Serial, CAT5 for power/reset/led, USB for TimeTrax XM radio, IR USB transceiver for steering wheel control via SWI-X) as well as a rear view camera, Extigy 4 channel audio and relay controlled regulated 12v power for Extigy, exhaust fan, EQ and touchscreen. Then of course there are the audio cables for the AMP, Basslink sub and EQ and power and ground wires for those also. I do have a few tie downs and wire guides - but figured the conduit was the best way to clean it up - just haven't got to that yet (cause when you put the carpet back in, it's easy to forget all the crap down there).

Very nice install.
I Dynamatted the exterior door panelling though (both front and rear and trunk "sides"), not the removable interior metal panels. That way you don't have to worry about cut outs for the bolts and you are stopping noise closer to the source. (I did put a few strips around the speaker mount, from the inside again though).
I did not want anything on the fold down seats (so I could use them to transport larger items without worrying about damaging the amp - the trunk is way small, ya know). I had no idea the Infinity amp was so big when I ordered it. If I had to do it again, I would've picked based on size as well to save me the headache of getting it to fit... I think your large amp might fit in the rear right well area for those looking to preserve the fold down seat option.
