A while ago, XM and Sirius were both experiencing a LOADING freeze with the G, but I think most of those units were sucessfully recalled. Maybe yours wasn't...?

I have the antenna as Shader on my trunk... the same company makes all the antennas, then sells them to XM and Sirius so they can throw different labels on them. Shouldn't be a problem with any particular brand (of service, at least) of antenna.

How long ago was the recall? I bought my car in Aug of 2003, and didn't have the satellite radio installed until Septembe, as the units were on back order.

I am going to contact my dealer and see what they say.
