I had this same problem on the driver's side door on our '04 G35x and recently took it into the dealer. They replaced the radio, Bose, and that fixed the problem. Just to cover all bases they went ahead and ordered me a new amp as well.

 

I completely agree with you on that. Bose system on the G35 is a piece of shizt. I was disappointed since the first day I tested the stereo. Sometimes my left speakers doesnt want to work. Minus well bring a walkman with headphones... sounds much better.

 

So that's 3 of us with the left door speakers not working. I was finally able to have the problem occur with the service adviser present, they're supposed to be ordering a new HU for me.

 

my new 05 coupe has but 160mi on it. from day one i noticed the bose sounded like crap. even my mom's 95 maxima SE with factory bose sounds 10x better. recently i received a loaner G35 sedan and its bose sounded awesome (like my mom's SE). is this something i can take to the dealer? or at least compare stereos to a bose coupe sitting in the lot? i'm pretty disappointed in the sound of the stereo considering all the money was spent on a state of the art vehicle.
