Exclamation Woofer Input requested:Image Dynamics or Diamond Audio??

Hi fellow G drivers. Ive been driving around for a few months without any bass. I currently am running the Pioneer avic-n1 for the head unit and Diamond audio mids-highs and Diamond amp. Im now in the market for some pretty serious SPL, I love that BOOMY deep bass (i play a lot of lil jon and luda). For a while ive been contemplating on going with the diamond d6 (version 3, same as m6) along with the diamond d6 1500.1 amp. Just recently i came accross a shop that told me about Image Dynamics which to my understanding is a top of the shelf company. Upon knowledge of the IDMAX 10" woofer, it soon joined the list of woofers to consider....i was at the shop and they suggested 3 Image Dynamics ID12" (4 ohm w/2ohm amp load) and the Arc Audio 1500.1 amp (also to my understanding a top of the shelf component). I am in need of input from anyone with any of the components mentioned, pics and all responses are always appreciated!

Thanks in advance
Joshua

Image dynamics all the way for the crisp bass, and if you are serious enough install 2 air horn in the front. One under the driver steering and the other in the passenger side. To me I think they are just as good as the JL audio components if not better.

Many props on your coupe very nice. In fact the setup that the audio shop suggested to me is just like the one you have only with 3 id's (12") and the arc 1500.1. What model are those 10's? If possible, anyway shape of form we could meet up so i could listen to your system, I dont mind driving to you and meeting somewhere local to you? Im usually in San Bernardino.

I had IDQ 10" subs and diamond audio D7 amps in m last vehicle. The subs like small sealed inclosure and will take alot more power then they are rated for. The bass is very tight and controlled. The subs are fast enough to keep up with all kinds of music and they dont become overbearing like other subs such as rockferd or MTX.

+1 IDQ
I have the 10" IDQ and couldn't be happier. More of a SQ than a SPL sub.

the boston acoustics g2/g5 line is also worth looking at. I've heard a number of good reviews from their 10" g5 specifically.

A friend of mine convinced me to go for the IDMAX 10 v.3 D2 and after hearing his setup, it's far superior to almost all of the setups I've heard so far. The bass hits hard and crisp which is exactly what I was looking for. I have not heard the g2/g5 line in person but a member over on my350z (ls350z) is hitting 144db on a .5cu-ft box. If you're also looking for a custom setup, the g5s can be broken down and painted.
