Basslink or Amp/sub(s)

I'm looking to add some bass to the stock system.

I have 2 - 10" 10w3v2 in a JL Audio Prowedge i could use but really im considering either a 4080 box or a basslink.
I'm taking into consideration ease of install vs results.

Is there anyone that has had either one of these or (even better) both and can tell me what they think?

I put in the Basslink. It adds some dimension to the stock system and is totally worth it in my opinion, but it isn't going to sound nearly as good as one or 2 JL 10w3s. It's really just about what you want to spend vs. what you want to get out of your system.

I have the Basslink also. It does fill in what the Bose system lacks but in no way thumps like an amp and 2 10" JL's
