FM MODULATOR question?
I have an FM modulator i will be putting in tomm. I wanted to what kind of antena plug is on the back of the radio.
Is it the standard one that can go into the back of any headunit or will i need adapters?

I agree with el_duderino. I have used three different types of fm modulators, including the one from Monster, and they all pretty much suck. Too much noise, and as you drive around, your reception quality keeps changing from fair to really bad.

Well the one i have has a power supply on it that you turn on to work. So i'm not sure if thats different then what you guys used. All i know is that my wireless fm dransmitter no longer cuts it.
i'll see how bad this one is.

Myron Davis Ant 108 is the best one (and its wireless)....and you should just by the PAC adapter since the hardwired version of the FM mod will require you spending another 30 bucks on adapters...plus the cost of your FM mod, and you only about 20 bucks away from the PAC unit.

Through plug and play harnesses. You discconect the current Infiniti harness, plug one end to the PAC unit, then the other end of the PAC unit (a different connector) comes back into to the Infiniti head unit...this gives you two RCA inputs (Red and White) = (Left and Right) sound.
If you have OEM sat, the best solution is to grab the audio lines from the SAT receiver going into the HU, and cut them and run them through a Soundgate AUX3 audio switcher.
Gives you TWO RCA level aux inputs.
I don't know the colors, but I've done it in Acuras and other cars with no off-the-shelf AUX adapters.
