SAT Harness Connectors
In the middle of installing my non-prewired harness and have discovered there are no open connections on the 4 connectors on the back of the head unit. However, the only plug in my trunk is the brown harness. What could it be that is plugged into the SAT connector on the back of the head unit?

Re: SAT Harness Connectors
Half the wiring of what exactly. There are 4 connectors on the back of the head unit and they are all used. The SAT connector on the new harness will only go into one of those connectors and it is taken. Where that cable ends up is anybody's guess as I can't find any free harness in the trunk, under the rear seat, etc.

Re: SAT Harness Connectors
I went ahead and unplugged it and plugged in the new one to test things out. Everything seems to work fine and the SAT receiver acquired just fine. All controls seem to be functional. I guess I'll just leave that mystery plug dangling and start reassembling. I started this at about midnight for some strange reason and decided to sleep on it. Time to put her back together this morning.
