Installing Bose head unit in Non bose ?
Can a bose deck work in a non-bose car? I have a 2004 sedan?? ANd will it make a difference or not with stock set up and aftermarket set up?
The cars with the Bose setup have an external amp in the trunk. The cars that have the regular radio do not.
If you put the Bose in, you will have to put the amp in as well.
That's true for the coupe. I believe it is true for the sedan as well.
It also looks like the Bose system in the sedan has 7 speakers and the regular system has 6.

There really isn't a "Bose deck".
There's a deck that has nothing to do with Bose, with a billboard on the front that Bose demands in order to put in their amp and speakers. They don't have anything to do with the HU in most Bose systems other than spec'ing the output type.
