Mine gets installed tomorrow with a JL 250/1 amp. I'm not changing any of the factory speakers out, so I'll let you know how it sounds with the new Alpine 9855 and factory Bose.

My store hasn't installed one yet on a G35, but from previous stealthbox installs, they are usually designed to fill the bass portion of your vehicles sound system, but not give you shaking bass.

Agreed, If you are looking to wake the neighbors, another solution might be a better option. This is mainly to fill in the lows where the factory BOSE is missing out. They did the install today, but had problems (ie I got the wrong DD face plate from Yoshi and installing an aftermarket stereo, i lost the voice guidance on the NAV system. Installer is trying to figure out how to fix this one. Still don't have the car back, maybe tomorrow.

BTW, I got my stealthbox from Tweeter http://www.tweeter.com/ for $415 new in the box. Took them about 2 weeks to get it in from JL.

I have it installed in my 04, I think it sounds great for what I wanted. I actually have to turn my bass gain all the way down when a "bass song" is on, because it rattles the car to much.

I don't have one in my G35, but I've got one in a 4Runner I have.
It's way too much $$ for the amount of bass. Like said earlier, it is good for fill but not much else. Of course, it comes w/ a W0 sub that isn't very efficient, but there's not enough depth to swap out to a better speaker. I added a cheap box and DVC to give more shake and it allows me to pull it out when I need room to haul stuff.

Have you looked at a 4080 box? It's a custom box made by a member here named 4080 and it fits on the left side of your trunk. It lets you have access to your spare, takes up the just the left "cubby hole" of your trunk, provides you with enough airspace for a jl10w3 or w6 and it looks good. Search for it and you'll find a lot of posts on this box. I want one myself. Just not quite ready to shell out the cash for an audio system.
