Adding a 2nd HU

Here's my plan. In order to keep the clean OEM look, I intend to keep the stock Bose HU but add a second HU to improve sound quality. I currently have the stock HU hooked up to 2 amps in the trunk (1 2ch & 1 4ch) to power my comps, rears and 2 subs. What I've done so far is attempted to hook up the second HU to see how it sounds but encountered a few problems.

First off, does anyone know which wires coming out of the '05 coupe Bose HU are 12v battery, 12v ACC and ground? At first try, I couldn't find the correct 12v ACC and ground but just tapped into the cig lighter wires. I figured it would be the same since you can only use the cig lighter with the key in the 1st position anyways.

Another question is, can I use the same Remote Wire as the factory HU or will I need to run a separate wire? I tried tapping into the blue/silver wire coming out of the Bose HU but for some reason, it will not power up my amps once hooked up to the aftermarket HU.

This idea might seem odd to some of you but I decided not to go with the DD setup due to cost. The DD replacement and AC unit alone would run $400+ and in my opinion, would only look good with a screen there, not just a HU and EQ.
