2004 DD kit install but problem with AC

2004 DD kit install but problem with AC

a local shop and i install my new head unit but my JDM ac thing if messed up. i dont know what the hell is going on. problem is my AC ahd to be at 60 degress to be cold. but when you put it on 61 it gets warm close to hot. and on the USDM AC thing i always ahd it in the mid 70's without a problem. has anyone has any problems with this? if so what you do to fix it. or will it fix itself or just a simple reset iwth the ECU woudl work? let me know please

maybe u got a bad ac thing? It could happen I guess. Has your installer done something like this b4?

make sure ALL your plugs are connected... behind the HU and the air intake thingy near your right knee when youre in driving position...

^^^^ those are the only two thing I can think of. my A/C works exactly like before.

well there was only two things needed for the head unit. 1 for ac and 1 for the navi. and there are a few more harenss things where do those hook up to. but the AC one is hooked up so why is there a problem?

dual works but just when u have it at 61 and higher its gets warm and 60 is cool so i need that fix

I haven't ordered my ac controller yet, b/c in the picture it does not show the dual climate button... how did you keep the dual climate control function?

I had the same problem in my car. Below the steering colum, on the lower dash panel, in front of where you right knee will be, there is a small vented opening/intake. Inside there, there must be a type of temperature sensor. Make sure the small wire harness, two wires, is plugged into that sensor and that the pins in the connector are not bent. That fixed the problem in my car.
