I made a hole in the rubber grommet that is located above and slightly to the left of the battery (aka closer to the windshield and closer to the passenger side of the car).

After finally getting the wire through the grommet (i made the hole too small so the rubber would have to stretch around the wire) I used a ton of silicon to seal around the edge of the power wire/rubber of the grommet. This is important to do seeing as how the drain hole for water coming down off of the windshield is located above this grommet. No seal = the passenger side kick panel & foot area gets wet
