Amps and Subs

Will JL 500/5 be enough for JL10w6v2 sub and my infinity k.perfects 6.1 components?.. can i use one amp for these two mods?. or is it better option to go mono-amp for the sub and 2chan.for components. gotta save space/money. so i was just thinking one amp with multi-chan.

You will want more than 250 watts (which is what the 500/5 will be outputting) going to your JL10w6v2.

I have a 500/5 and I will be running components that rate at 150rms and a JL10w3v2 rated at 300 watts.

I went with the 500/5 for the same reasons you are considering it: all-in-one for my entire system to save space, lower complexity.

You won't be saving money, however. The 500/5 will cost you more than a mono class D amp and a 2 channel amp for your comps.

The 500 has lots of fringe benefits, however, that make it an attractive choice.
