AVIC-D1 navigation dvd version
I'm planning on getting a AVIC-D1
Are all the navigation data DVDs the same version out of the box? or are there newer and older versions ?
Is there any specific version of the AVIC-D1 that i should get?
also, is the 1 year warranty effective if i get it from ebay?

It's def not the most recent.
The deal I made (local vendor) was that I'd get current ver no extra cost..
Haven't gone in yet to check.

Just found out its v1.2 but still don't know if it comes with the D1s produced later on.
Why are the Avic-D1s sold on ebay so much cheaper than those from stores?
Is it worth the risk of having no warranty getting one on ebay? Has anyone had a defective one out of the box?

can anyone tell me where to get the required components for the D1 installation at a reasonable price? crutchfield's too expensive

scosche nn03 (cardomain seems to have a good price but do they have good service?)
nissan antenna (most car stereo shops have it right?)
