UPDATE: autostart alarms

so i talked to the installer for my autostart unit, and he said that the problem is that he needs a "tach singal wire" for the autostart to work....also he said another problem was that the doors unlock when the autostart is armed.....anybody have a solution to these problems so that i can relay the msg???

From your other thread:

I know nothing directly about Compustars.

I can tell you that Directed recommends the 1-cylinder setting and grabbing the wire at any ignition coil or fuel injector. If the Compustar has a one cylinder setting you should be fine.

P.S. Your installer sucks *** if you have to do his research for him.

Go somewhere else, if the installer can't even install that....he has no business touching your G. Seems like he is inexperienced, has he even asked you for a vat key for bypassing the ignition?
Go Compustar, you'll be happy with it. Long range, locks doors and rolls up windows on autostart, and.......the most important.....again.... long range!
