Context: It been sitting the my garage for 1 year without running...


I can't figure if the sound is coming from the bottom or the head. but it come from passenger side front.

Update: The sound is happening when the engine is cold. Then when it's at it regular operating temperature, it's gone... then it's back the next time I start it cold...

Anyone got idea?

 

Note1: When the car is halfway between cold and regular temperature, then the noise goes and come back randomly while getting it regular temperature...

Note2: If I rev it to 2000 rpm in neutral when halfway to regular temperature, it does the sound at the time it accelerate, then no more sound.... very strange to me...

Note3: I already changed the timing chain tensioner.

 

did 2000 km yet and dint came back.. pretty strange... I also went to a winter drift event and ran fine. The engine run like new...

Seem to me like it din't had enough oil in the top of the engine as it was sitting for year+...
