Anybody have any issues w/ glass degradation after installing a radar detector w/ suction cups? (Many radar's instructions note that some cars have a special kind of film on the inside windshield that can be damaged if suction cups are placed on its for long periods of time-Porsches and some other brands)-wondering if this applies to the G or of it is ok to mount w/ suction cups w/ no possibility of damage?

 

i think it's fine to mount the G's window with the suction cups.. i've had 3 V1's and 1 Passport and i've used the suction mounts for all of them and have had no problems..

 

I use the cups; no problems here
