Quick question: what does your startup screen look like?

Is it white/grayish background with a red Infiniti emblem

or

Black background with silver Infiniti emblem?

Also, please state your model year as well.

Just trying to figure out something.

Black and Yellow. 05 coupe 6MT

 

Initial screen is black with silver Infiniti logo then black with yellow; 05 coupe 6MT.

Due to problems with the NAVI, my dealer replaced the control unit. Now the startup screen is different - same as on the 03s. White/Silver background with Red emblem...
They claim they ordered the control unit using my VIN and that other than replacing the actual unit, no software upgrade was involved.

I don't get it...

 

Ask again and maybe they'll swap in the new graphics that are on the 06!

Maybe its an '03 thing but sometimes I get moons or something weird as a startup screen. It's kinda tight though. Anyone else get this? Instead of the standard INFINITI startup, there is what appears to be two moons or some space-type theme. Happens a few times a month.

Maybe it's the DVD they gave you? Could be an old DVD. I dunno... just a guess. I'm not too sure when the DVD comes into play while it boots up.

 

The kept my old CD (Version 6.2), but that's just the map. It has nothing to do with the actual NAV revision... (I like to think of it as the OS or BIOS that runs the whole thing).
