Where do they mount it if its factory installed?? I saw a coupe today and the antenna was mounted on the trunk lid If its on the trunk lid can I ask them to mount it to the roof ?

Unless they changed something with 2006 the standard place for install is on the roof of the car. Your install will probably be done by the dealer and if you don't say anything it will be on the roof. Some people like it better on the trunk lid, I would suggest you install it on the inside "rear deck" or buy a window antenna and mount it on the rear windshield; with these installs there is no ugly black antenna on the outside of your car. Do searches to find more info.

On the 04s the SAT was a dealer installed option, NOT factory installed. May have changed, but I doubt it.

If you get a spoiler on your G (sport package I see) you can actually mount the antenna UNDER the rear deck like I did. There is a big hole where the 3rd brake light would install in the rear deck. You can mount the antenna under the rear deck, right under the hole and get pretty good reception. It cuts out occasionally, but its definately better then seeing the ugly thing on top of the car or sitting on the rear deck.

Excellent info, ill talk to the dealer when its near time for the car to come in and find out if he is the one installing the sat. If so, I will tell him to do as you suggest.
