Angry GRRR!! MP3 CD's don't work in 05 6MT for me!

Just picked up my 05 6MT and went to burn my first mp3 CD from itunes. I buy all of my music on itunes. It came up with an error warning that you cannot burn mp3 CD's downloaded from the itunes music store. That means I have no way to get my mp3's into my car unless I get the ipod integration which is what I'm trying to do as we speak. Suggestions?

Okay - you say that you bought all of your music from iTunes. Welcome to the world of AAC (advanced audio codec). The problem is that they are not encoded im mp3 format. There is a rather cumbersome workaround. You can burn (several) audio cds and then re-rip the audio cds into iTunes as an mp3 (look in the preference pane to set the codec to mp3 and the bit rate to something like 160 VBR). It is a pain. I had to do the same with an audio book (ripped to 17 cdrws, re-rip, and burn 1 mp3 cdr).
