where should i place my amps?

hey everyone, i will be installing a jl 300/4 and a 500/1 amp into my 2005 sedan. now i would like some advice where i should be placing these things. I would prefer a not so noticable place since my parents don't know i'm getting this installed...they despies the idea of putting a loud system in a new car...

also i have a full size spare tire in my trunk which i would like to keep...thanks

If it's your car, why do you care what your parents think?

Probably because mommy and daddy paid for the car, and it is not really his G, it is theirs. Just a guess.

ditto... under the rear deck.

question... if you're worried about placement of the amps, where are the subs going? won't they notice the huge speakers in the trunk? or are you going to try and hide those too?

Put them underneath your seats if there is room. Or build a false floor.

i forgot to say i have a non-bose system so no amp in the back already. a false floor, i'll look into it could be doable.

i have a 4080 box, so it doesn't stand out too much...

just put it in the trunk w/your sub! . it aint like your parents are going to go. pop the trunk i want to see if you modified your trunk.
You know your parents are going to see the 4080box first rather than anything else..that things pretty noticable.

but he's got two amps...

you could mount them underneath the rear deck. in the same manner the bose amp is mounted. you could do a side by side mount, that would also save floor space in the trunk, and maybe keep them out of plain view.
