What do you do for a living if you dont mind me asking? It seems everything you do, you do on your own. Your work is outstanding, and you do a crapload of custom work, as ive checked out your website before. It is all insane, how much talent you have for such things, and it amazes me. Big kudos to you homie

If I told you, you would laugh. I should open a custom shop. I do car things on the side but thats as far as it goes. Ive always done things myself. Ive been building car, bikes, trucks for about ten years now. Its something I have always loved. Ive done the show thing for many years also. If you've seen my site then you know that. With the G it has been my mission to build it MYSELF from ground up, including paint. Its just something I always wanted to say Ive done. The only thing I havent done is major interior work, maybe one day. Its nice to look back at the G in a parking lot and feel good about it because I built it.

I got mine CHEAP through a hook up. The retail for 900.00 per rim. I just sold my set for 2500.00 and they were in great shape.

They are 12's. There is a LOT of air space for them, more then I thought there would be. I need to reinforce the boxes with more glass and then I can start my amp rack and NOS rack. After that I can start the tubbin part.

I have had my car almost a year and a half and my stereo is still not done. My friend who is a local installer finally did a fiberglass mold for my sub over 2 months ago and the mold just sits there. I go in every week to see if it is done and it is always in the same spot. I went down there last time and the shop door was open and my Kicker s10l7 is in the same spot it always is, where anyone could steel it, while he is inside probably running a quick errand.

In about one minute I box up my dusty sub that has just been sitting there for over year and high tail out of there. I have not called him. I don't like confrontations so I have not told him that I took it and plan on just getting the 4080 box.

I like learning and I wish I had your skills to install a killer system like you are obviously putting together. If I did, my stereo would have been finished in my first month of owning this car. I always thought having friends that work in the stereo field or car field or whatever, but in my case this is far from the truth and has been nothing, but a PAIN in my non confrontaional A$$.

Anyhow.
Looks great, I am jealous!

Sounds like some drama! All I can tell you is this CAN be done by YOU! Maybe not to this extreme but if your willing to learn and try things YOU can do it. This is one of the reasons why I post threads like this. So I can show members on this site YOU can do stuff yourself! EVERYTHING can be fixed so dont worry about fuggin it up! As long as you keep your head up you will get through it. before trying this I havent done a glass project like this, its a big one! One that Ill use about four to five gallons of glass on. Then about a gallon of Bondo. But I will get through it.
Or I guess you can just buy a 4080 box. They look nice and for the price cant be beat!
