Urgent Help! Cd Player Dilemma!
Around a month ago, I posted that my CD player stopped working. The radio, speakers, everything was fine, except it wouldn't play CDs. Anyway, I brought the car in a few weeks ago and got it checked out and indeed, they said it didn't work so they ordered one for me, covered by warranty of course. Anyway, just tonight out of curiosity, I put a CD in, and it WORKS! Everything is fine now! BUT I have a scheduled appointment tomorrow morning at 7:45am (10 hours left), and I don't know what to do... should I tell them that it suddenly works now and to call off the appointment? I think they'd be pretty pissed cuz they said if they order it, it has to be installed within 2 weeks or else they send it back, and if they do that and my CD player breaks again, I don't think they'd believe me or be too happy be about it at the least. Or should I just tell them that it works, but to replace it anyway just in case it breaks again? Or not say anything at all?? HELP PLEASE! running out of time

The CD players in our cars use cellular GSM data connections to the Infiniti dealership network. When an appointment to repair a Infiniti with a faulty CD player is made, the dealership network sends a FU37aaCK 097YOU441 code to the player, which causes it to temporarily function as normal. Once outside of the warranty period or at a time least convenient for you, this code will expire and the problem will reoccur.
I would take it into the dealership and tell them you are aware of the FU37aaCK 097YOU441 GSM code and that you demand a replacement radio that does NOT have GSM capabilities.

My 2month old coupe's cd player crapped out the other day. The cd player is jammed up cuz it wont eject the cd nor would it do anything else. All you hear is the mechanism inside stuggling to eject the cds. Maybe when I was installing the Pac AAI-NIS to the headunit, it screwed it up. Good thing I'm bringing my car in for its first service. Time to bitch to the dealer!
