facotry navigation audio to aftermarket HU
You the man thanks! Is it hard to get rid of that top part?

That would be the avX2494. All avNs have Navi.
may I ask why you guys chose an AVN without nav? Besides having 2 navs, what else was a disadvantage? I'm currently in the market for an aftermarket HU and I currently have NAV. I figured since i'm gettng a new headunit I might as well get one w/ everything.. such as the nav. I haven't seen any posts with both factory nav and aftermarket nav .. besides being pointless to have 2 navs, why else did you not go with it? Is it cuz of the price? So is the unit you installed the same as the avn5435 minus the nav?
