Probably would only hit 147 without that breaker...

without the breaker , straight wire he could get 154+, no limit on the current for the amp

In my car I have both ???? 1 set for for each of 2 amps. The circuit breakers are reasonably out if sight so call them a valet switch and I can work on the system. I would have only circuit breakers if the damn installlers didn't know better than this dumb customer!!

Hey, I like some CBs... but most of the ones you can buy are a PITA to work with.

Monster used to have house-style CBs that were easy to mount and easy to turn off for servicing.

Plus, when your bumping in the car and your fuse pops...it's just like dead silence unitl you replace it

Hmm... 19years in car audio and not one blown amp fuse. I must suck : )

If you have a properly setup system your fuse should never blow so either will do and a plain fuse will be cheaper
