2005 G35 6MT 60GB Ipod Video PAC AAI-NIS Integration!!

Hey guys,
I finally did it after much research and learning from you all! I installed my brand new 60 GB black ipod video with the infrared dock connector into my G! I have over 2,000 songs, plus videos and tv shows in my car! The sound quality is PHENOMINAL, and the shop only charged me $50 to install everything. I used the Blitzsafe universal ipod adapter for the charging capabilities, and PAC AAI-NIS for the auxillary inputs. I ran one to the ipod where the navigation cubby is and one to the upper glove box. The one in the upper glove box is if I have a passenger that has a lap top on a road trip and wants to plug that in and listen to the movie through the car speakers. It is a SWEET set up and I am STOKED! I've attached pictures, so let me know what you think! I also had them fabricate a custom bracket to mount the ipod dock onto. It is solid and fits perfectly! Cheers!

Hey, I'm using the Blitzsafe UII as well. Where did you tap the Blitzsafe's Yellow wire in the car? Sorry, I'm a novice and I'm planning on hardwiring my iPod and Valentine 1 this weekend!
Btw, nice setup!

Hey bro,
unfortunately, I had the install done at a stereo shop so I can't answer that question. I'm sure one of our esteemed forum members can though! Let's hear it from you DIYer's Cheers!

Just had a Blitzsave and PAC installed as well (05 5AT Sedan). I have the white 60 gig video, a black 4 gig nano, and a blue 4 gig mini (my 1st gen 20 gb won't work - no dock connector). For the mini, I use a button/clip for a cell phone. The clip is mounted on the flat back of the top cubby, with the button stuck straight on the iPod mini. I also have an RF remote, so I can keep the ipod closed up and still use the remote.

Well, I finally installed the Blitzsafe UII & Pac AAI-NIS in my 05 coupe. The music it delivers its pretty good. BUT, somehow, it won't charge my iPod. At least, I don't see the battery icon on the iPod blink. And, the iPod won't turn off after I turned the ignition off. I have a running thread about this dilemma so if anyone have any input that would be great.
Btw, my cd player now is all screwed up too. The player is jammed, I believe. DAMNIT! Good thing I'm bringing my car in for its first service tomorrow. Hopefully they wont say anything about me installing the Blitzsafe and Pac.
