headrest tv's in coupe?

has anyone here done this?show pics please..how easy or hard was the install on the headrests?

i want to do it..i am pricing out the tv's but need to know if it can be done on the coupe's headrests

best setup i've seen so far on a G35 coupe was performed by Meatshackle (formerly TrentaCinque).... you might wanna shoot him a PM also. i've asked him questions in the past and he's been very helpful. i'm sure he'll post up in here also

Smile Headrest Monitors

I didn't like the viewing angle so I made some fiberglass enclosures then wrapped them in leather. Kinda bulky when viewed from the side but the basic round shape is still there.

all the pixx that are posted here are of sedans right?because my 03 coupes headrests look nothing like the ones here in this post..am i wrong?i mean i havent really paid attention to them but other than the one with the custom fiberglass enclosure the others are sedans right?

yeah amthar..still looking into those links...i called up teh local retailers of thsoe products and they said it runs about $1000 a piece..that is absurd...i need to find a dealer of DEI that wont BS me.

Heres mine - yes its a coupe. The screens are 6.5 inch Farenhiets - LCD - and yes, the headrests were cut/modified to fit these screens. Love it!

wow, that is absurd. I think there are some DEI dealers on these forums.

pearlcoupeg35..I like your setup..is that brand pretty good?there are soo many out there...also how hard was the install..what does the actualy tv mount onto if anything?how is it held in place?thats something that i have been wondering.

I hope you're doing this for shows and points and etc? Otherwise the backseat in the coupes aren't the most comfy place to watch a movie with someone on road trips.
