remote starter with intelligent key?

Is it possible to install OEM remote starter on G35 with intelligent key ? How this works?

An aftermakret remote start can be added on. Theres nothing differently done with the I Key

you'll need to give up your valet key.. as it'll be used to start up the car.. at least when I got my compustar alarm installed that's what they did.

im not sure thats true. with the one we had, the car wouldnt except the key after so long. you would have to unlock the car with the remote again for it to recognize the I-key. I really dont think its going to be as easy as you are thinking.

The I key unlocks the ignition cylinder. Which is not needed for remote start. So actually it is that easy. Not sure why you would have had a problem doing one.

No Im talking about the Intelligent key with an actual cylinder like asked in the original post.

oic. have you all seen the new push button g35 where you just have to have the remote in your pocket?

On an '07 maybe? Last time I looked '06 was the same as '05

correct me if I am wrong, but if I will leave a key inside a car, dors will be always open?

on the regular one? no. it goes inside a sender that only sends the sinal to the key cyl when activated by the alarm. the key doesnt affect the doors

Whether you have the I key or the standard, your only leaving the valet key in the box which doesnt affect the car itself. It is as posted above only powered up when you activate remote start.
