Question 8" subs....

so here is my dilemma. I need my trunk space. I lug my golf clubs and school bag in my trunk and there's no way i'm going to sacrifice any of my already non-existent trunk space.

i've looked into it and the whole deal with bose being 2 ohm is no big deal, all i need to do is find some DVC subs and shibbity bang we're set.

and if this is a repost, sorry. somebody's really gotta figure out a new format for the whole search engine cuz honestly... it just sucks *****

so just curious...
1. how many watts rms does the bose amp push out to the rears
2. has anybody done this? and if so, how much of an upgrade are these compared to the 6x9s
3. does anybody have ANY experience with 8" woofers.

so your planning on replacing the 6x9s with 8s? Im not sure if you can find a DVC sub in a 8 inch though.

i'm still not sure if i'm going to be fabricating a .4"^2 fiberglass enclosures for them or just staying free air.

I have some Eclipse 8" subs I'm trying to sell. You can pm me if interested. I paid $200/sub a year ago. But I only want $150 for both of them now. They handle up to 300w max and are 8ohm. I had them running off an eclipse amp that was bridged to 200x2. In a ported box they sound kick ***.
