i wanna get the kenwood double din head unit but i dont know what i will need to install it, and i also want to kno if i could do it my self, also how is it going to sound with the stock bose?
i have an 04 6mt
i know i will need the double din dash kit with the ac controls
i was wondering do i need to run new wires to the speakers or something to that effect... is this a plug and play kind of deal or do i really need to re-wire things....
i dont know about car audio..... i mean im not dumb or anything, i have taken an electronics course....
also is there a better way to spend the money?
i was thinking a sub may be an alternative..... i need opinions

you just need the dd kit and a wiring harness. Scosche part number NN03B. I would run new wires to your speakers, and probably get aftermarket speakers too. But you don't have to.

i kno that its not going to stop them 100% of the time but u cant see it unless u look close and also, also if someone is going to break in they are going to do it there is no stopping them.

You would be better off spending the money on replacement speakers a couple of amps and a sub. The BLOSE speakers are pathetic, if you put a nice DD head unit in with the stock speakers you will be very dissapointed. It will look stock for any peering eyes as well. Just my $.02
