Yup. My first install was in my 90 CRX SI. Kenwood deck and amp with Blaupunkt comps and 2 10"s. It was much easier back then to install. Just have to reach around the back. Now you gotta tear the whole dash and tranny tunnel off to work on it.

Oh yeah. My first install was on a 87 Maxima. Now, that was a hard install as is now. The hard part was, it was Double Din but Double Din units didn't exist back then so you had to squeeze a Head Unit into one slow and had a hole for the other slow with a partitin in between the two. I just bought an EQ and put it there but, once again, they only made half Din EQ in those days. I tore that bad boy apart at least 5 times in less than 3 years and kept on upgrading I had two amps (one Craig Electronics and one Rockford for the subs) with some Boston Pros front and rear. However, no Caps and didn't wire the ground to the batter back then Ah, the good ol' days.

Update:...finally installed my 1 farad cap last week. My purpose was for the audio system and my pc. It definately made my jl setup hit harder and cleaner.....and oddly enough....the car seems more smoother and much more responsize to the gas pedal! I'm guessing the responsiveness is most likely due to me having a weakened battery and the cap allowing the electrical system to pull that extra juice on demand....or it could just be all that holiday egg nog ....you decide what you want to beleive.
