Focal 165CA vs. Infinity Kappa 6.5"...HELP!

Hi .. I'm interested in mild upgrade of crummy paper speakers in my new 06 Coupe. Not really wanting to do much beyond changing front speakers and from rading the posts here thought the "reviews" on Infinty Kappa series sounded pretty good for an old guy just looking for a mild upgrade.
Got on some "audiophile" type site the other nite and saw where several guy's wee raving about the above mentioned Focal 165ca speakers. They were making direct references to the Infinity Kappa's and all agreed the Focal's to be superior......... At this point I'm hoping for help from some of you whose posts I've read that indicate you really know your way around the "speaker world" and in particular what works in our cars.
Would some of you give me some suggestions (and hopefully some comments on the Focal speakers those guy's on the other site were raving about) to include price and installation. I'd like to keep price for front speakers in $300 or less range but would go higher if that is what it takes. Also, (dumb question) are te 6x9's in rear deck our Woofers? SHOULD I considr changing ...... even if I wait and just do front speakers I'd like your suggestions.
Thanks in advance for helping out an "old guy" and Merry Christmas to all ....(screw that politically correct Seasons Greeings crap!!!!)

People say that the Kappa specs are very similar to the bose speakers and are a far better replacement for them (both are 2 ohm i believe?). I havent heard much about Focal so I can't really comment on them...I think replacing all the speakers(8) with Kappa's would run about $500-600 depending on the site. Installation for the fronts aren't that hard, the rears and 6x9's are a little more challenging. If you can, try to DIY. And yea iirc the 6x9 are our woofers.

I'm going to be changing mine out eventually with Kappa's, 2 amps and a new HU...just gotta save up for it.

MB Quarts are a nice brand as well, but they're much more expensive...but I dont know how they stack up to the Kappa's

I decided to go with the Kappa's and will be installing them this weekend. If you are going to be running off of the stock amp, then you should stick with the Kappa's because they are 2ohm. The Focal's are 4ohm and will sound weak running off the stock amp. I ended up getting the Kappa 60.7 components for the front and the Kappa 62.7 coax for the rear. I got both sets of speakers on ebay for $252.99 shipped. I've already added a 5CH Alpine amp, 4080 sub box with a JL Audio 10W1 sub. It's already made a huge difference. Can't wait to put in the Kappa's.
