I have similar as in 4080, JL 500/1 and a JL10wv6. I do not pust my sub system near it's limits, so I suspect what you are planning would work nicely as long as you do not intend to try to shake the car to pieces. I am in Ft Lauderdale, BTW, not far from Boca. The rest of my system is stock for now. The 4080 and JL really made a nice addition to my system.

A 10w6v2? wow i thought that would be too much bass. I might change out the other speakers later. I have been big into car audio my whole life, however as I get older I try to avoid the headaches associated with system problems etc.

i am currently running a pair of JL 10w3v2's, however i will be upgrading to a single 10w6v2 when i build my new box. the pair of 10w3v2's have been great for me so far with my 500/1
it's always been my opinion that it's better to have alittle overhead when planning a system install... ie if you're looking to play 350 watts constantly get a sub/amp that can do 400-500 and then you're not stressing the amp at all if you play them lower... many people have done the 4080 and 10w6v2 with 500/1 amp and been very happy with it
of course, i don't like corner boxes and wanted something that stood out alittle more.....

his setup required the removal of the spare and the amp shelf mounted in the spare tire well... he then fabricated a new "trunk floor" out of plexi, wood, and trunk carpet.
in my car it looks exactly the same (obviously) but i mounted the JL 500/1 directly on top of my stock Bose amp on the left side of the trunk under the plastic, so i retained my spare tire in there no problem.
if i wasn't into being so "showy" (hell i drive a laser red coupe with chrome wheels lol) i woulda got a 4080 box and kept all my trunk space, they're very impressive for what they are
