Just picked up Infinity Kappas 60.7....... Great Price?
After some much appreciated input fom several I decided to replace my front speakers with the Kappa 60.7 componets. www.cardomain.com sold me a pair for $199.95 with free shipping This seemed like a pretty good price?????
Looking forward to the big improvement others have described.
If you think price is good best hurry since the order guy claimed this is closeout pricing.

That price is close to dealer pricing. As a retailer, we sell the components for $279 ($20 cheaper than Crutchfeild). The only thing you need to watch out for with internet sales is lack of a warranty. If a speaker goes bad or you blow one, you will need to buy a new set. Other than that, it's a good deal.

Any suggestions on the best spot to purchase these speakers that are from an authorized dealer?? I assume most of the Ebay auctions are from places that Infinity wont honor their 3 year warranty on?? Another ebay drawback is their ridiculous shipping prices - $25 to $30 for UPS ground to ship relatively lightweight speakers.... Well I still might go the Ebay route even with the ridiculous shipping costs if I can't find any authorized dealers for a decent price (Crutchfield wants $300 vs $160 on Ebay).

I can beat the Crutchfeild price but there is no way I can get close to the $160 dollar price on Ebay, I don't blame anyone here jumping on that deal at all. However, IF you do have a problem within the 3 year warranty, you are on your own. That would stink if you blow a woofer. In that case, you would have to buy a wholle new pair. You would have backups, but you would wind up paying more. Anyway, it's a chance you takie buying anything on line.
