Last second double din question about bracket (ordering tonight)

Im ordering my double din dash tonight and im getting the

AC controller and the dash... now my question is about the bracket. I have a non-nav unit and im installing an AVN5435... according to what ive read, I do not have to order the bracket and can reuse the factory bracket (some people said its the exact same). I also read that there is a possiblity of having a gap with the factory bracket. What should i do?

Also is there anything im not thinking about that i should order here
this is what i have so far :

AVN5435 from crutchfield
double din dash
ac controller
MAYBE bracket non-nav

The bracket looks the same. The 05-06 headunits are double-din sized chassis on the inside. If you are buying from Grubbs, I assume you can return the bracket if unused.

No I didn't do the DD conversion, but I did remove the headunit to install the Harman/Kardon Drive+Play ipod controller.

No you don't need the bracket I used my factory one...its the same....Enjoy your AVN i got the same one.... word of advise run all your wires now ie. rca's, and remotes camera if you got it and changer if you got it...saves you a lot of time in the future if you decide to get amps and stuff.....

I'm not doing the install.... so what should i ask specifically when im getting it installed to make installing amps/rear view camera when i'm at the installer. Your system is pretty much the route i want to go... with JL AMPS, a 10w6 in 4080 box, and really high quality speakers

Bracket isnt needed, although for the few bucks that it costs, I shouldve gotten that as well. It would simply things when doing the install. Prepping work anyway..
