Help with lights?

I have been installing a double din tv/dvd/etc. in my G35 coupe and for some reason at some point the lights on the interior stopped working. I checked all my fuses and none of them are broken currents. Here is a list of lights that dont work:

reading lights
light ring around key hole
door lights

Any ideas. Please help. Thank you in advance.

Recheck your fuses. There is a fuse for those particular lights in the kick panel on the drivers side (at least there is on my 04 coupe). I blew that fuse a few months back and it took me forever to find it.

I believe its labeled 'room' or something like that. Look on the back of the fuse panel door thingy and it will list all the fuses (I didn't realize this until I was putting it all back together). The name will reference either room, int, lights, curtasy lights, or something like that.

What year is your car? Is it a coupe or a sedan?

When you put the dash back together did you plug back in the dimming control on the left side of the under dash panel? you may want to recheck it...

I hope I'm not insulting you.

There are more fuses behind the battery, but I'm not sure if there is a fuse for the interior lights there or not. I don't have an 03 manual with me, so I can't look it up. The BCM changed from 03 to 04 so you really need the correct manual to look it up with.

hmmm. Sorry, just reread you original post. The dimmer control doesn't have anything to do with those...
