Garmin Nuvi 350 portable GPS
#16
Nuvi is too small, for me. With a few retailers selling Garmin 2610 and 2650s, etc. which are still supported by Garmin, I think there is a distinct advantage in how the display looks. Unless you need the other goodie features in the nuvi. Very easy install with a couple of strips of velcro. And power cable/spker is easy to route to power. Built-in patch antenna seems to work just fine also, but there is an external jack if you need it. It's a great navi with a relatively large easy to read display, touch screen, and remote.

CAVU, thanks for your photos. I just installed my NAVI 350 in my '06 G35 sedan this weekend exactly the way you did. I also hardwired it to the power and am using a Garmin external antenna on the trunk lid.
I have many Garmin GPS receivers and even though the NAVI does not have some of the bells and whistles like the 276C I replaced, like being able to configure the map screen data, being able to use the routes I saved from the 276C, it is still a great unit and I am enjoying it.
This weekend I am installing my Ham Radio gear in the car.
Again SAVI thanks for the idea on the NAVI mounting!!!
