Amp mounting suggestions to maximize trunk space?

Removing the spare is not an option.

Amp dimensions are 11.8 in x 16.5 in x 2.4 in. Originally I had it off to the side, jutted against the corner. It's functional, but I am kind of **** about it not looking "clean." For those that have, is there enough space around the spare to place it there, even if means removing the plastic spacers that cradle the spare? I'm not driving anything crazy, so how concerned should I be about heat dissipation?

Worse case scenario is to mount it against the back seat, but I want to avoid that if I can.

You should be able to fit the amp underneath the plastic cover to the left of the spare where the Bose amp is located. Use a piece of mdf bolted to the existing bolts in that space and then mount the amp to the mdf. I have a thread link saved to 'my favorites' on my home pc. I'll post it up for you later.

Your amp is slightly too big to mount in the spare tire hub. To maximize floor space, I would mount it onto the rear deck lid if you can't mount it in the stock amp location under the floor board.

mine is flush mounted into the rear seat back. When the seatback is down the the surface is flat. have to be careful at high power for breathing but that is not an issue very often and it could be fixed by fans and/or a little trimming of carpet backing. Mine had to be done that way because it wouldn't let the seat back if it was mounted on top or outside (samathing different way to explain.) Email or call if you want more explanation
