Questions..Double Din conversion on 04????

Questions..Double Din conversion on 04????

Hey everyone, i've got an 04 g35 coupe w/ the OEM NAVIGATION SYSTEM, and i was wondering if i swap to the double din conversion w/bracket and ac controls, will i still be able to use my stock navigation???? any help would be great, thanks!

YES and I dont think you need the bracket. "Search" is your friend buddy :-)

Thanks for answering that, and yes i tried the search and it helped a lot, i found out more about installing the kit without navi than with it. But thanks again, i'm thinking about doing this mod in the near future, but still deciding on which decks i might go with.....

Just did this last weekend on an 03.5 6mt coupe with nav. A really helpful link for you:

You lose your nav voice unless you work a little extra:

Glad to see my DIY from g-owners.com is in still good use. I have been MIA for the past 6 months and I have garaged my G for the winter here in Ohio. I feel so much out of touch with the G community. Is Kia still here with his advice on 05 DD conversion?
