That's why I'm asking I bought one on ebay but the guy I think has ripped me and another guy off. I bought it on Feb 1 and he has not emailed me at all to confirm that I paid or that it shipped. I have emailed him twice

I just want one without having to order it at Tweeter and wait two weeks.

This sucks.

PXNI is a reseller of the PAC unit, they rebadge it with their name...supposedly since they sell so many units they are the first to get them when they are backordered...

True, true, and true. My buddy works for PAC and is part of the team that developed the AAI-NIS2. They tested it on my '06 just before shipping back-order fulfillment to Peripheral. The PXNI is the exact same unit. The units are in short supply at the moment so I'd get a Peripheral unit if you can find one available.

I have a peripheral unit coming in tomorrow. I MAY have an actual PAC-AAI-NIS2 showing up too, depending on whether or not I got ripped off by the ebay schmuck. Another dude who won one a day before me said he got his yesterday... so we'll see.

I may have an extra one that I can sell to someone in a day or two. I'll post if I do.

Yes there is a huge back-ordered everywhere you look for the most part.

The different between the old unit and the new one is that if you have the stock satellite radio installed, the new one allows you to keep your satellite radio while adding an aux input. The old one made you lose your stock sat. radio in order to gain aux input.
