Volume Control Bose System

I believe that the Bose sound system has a volume/speed related function.
Can anyone tell me how to turn it on?
Does the "AutoP" button have anything to do with it or does it control something else?

I know they are dumb questions but my owners manual is in Japanese and I have tried the search option without luck

it's called SSV - speed sensitive volume. push the "Audio" button repeatedly until you see it. There are 3 settings: low, medium and high
