DIY Alarm mod-sensor location?

i stuffed mine behind the power duct, but I'm not all that thrilled with it. the front of the car became pretty sensitive to shock while the back was pretty numb. I think a more central location would be better. Right now I have the shock sensor turned way down so it doesn't go off when a loud noise goes off. If you can bury the shock sensor inside, it might make it more noise immune.

Are you using the DEI sensor? If so, wire tie it to a wire harness. Failing that, velcro it to an air duct.
If you do that, location sensitivity and high-frequency sensitivity go way down and low frequency sensitivity (What you want it to trigger on) stays high.
The harder you mount the 504, the more it false triggers.
