my driver side window has been acting up. On two occasions I have had to pull at the window to get it to close. A few other times I heard the window motor struggling a bit. I also noticed after the window moves when I open the door; its not always going back when I close it... I will probably end up taking mine in...

 

I was careful when testing it with the door open. I let it down all the way before I shut it.

Well it seems to have fixed itself over night. Works fine now, I guess it just got too hot sitting out in the sun.

 

I am having the same problem where my passenger side power window is acting up. When is lowered all the way down, it wont come back up. Sometimes I got to shut the car down for a couple of minutes and that seems to make the window work again... I am going to take my car to the dealership tomorrow, it sucks that I got to wait all weekend.

 

phox, my car had the same symptoms, and now the window wont go down at all, let me know if yours is the motor, im gonna replace mine next week, as i have to buy it myslef because my car is out of warranty

 

Out of warranty really? I am the second owner of my 2003 G35... I thought the warranty (Basic) is good for another year (four years total or 36000 miles). My car has only 15,000 miles, so I was hoping that I can still use the warranty.
My window finally worked this morning, but I have made an appoinment with infiniti of alexandria to bring it in on Webnesday. Once my window is close, I dont dare to bring down again thinking that is going to get stuck. I will let you know what it is.
