Navigation Traffic Avoidance
I know with certain aftermarket navigation systems you can subscribe to features that monitor traffic and can warn you about approaching accidents so that you may re-route and avoid the traffic. Is there anyway to get this feature for the stock nav unit?

The stock navi has an option to specifiy an area to avoid. There's no option to import data yet.
The reality of even with the best systems traffic information is only available on select highways that isn't always the most relevant. There's no traffic info on the sideroads so they can often dump you on sideroads that are worse than the highway. The end result is easier access to traffic info, but it doesn't save you any time once you get off the highway. Its a good concept, but there's not enough traffic information to make it much better than a radio based report paired with a normal navi system.
