Sorry to hear that bro. I manage one of thier stores in Atlanta( Hifi Buys here).
Ask to speak with the General Manager and explain to him your issues. Be cool with him and don't go into the store kicking and screaming. He will make sure you are satisfied when you leave. Drop me a line and let me know the outcome.
We strive to provide excellent customer service . I hate to hear when a customer is not happy.

Yeah, I kind of figured that was going to be the case. There's no way in hell that 2 W6V2's powered by a JLA 1000/1 wouldn't give you enough bass. That should be enough bass to shake a few fillings loose.........out of the head of the guy in the car NEXT to you!!!!

Does anyone know if SA still requires you to purchase the equipment from them for an install?

It's really up to the installer/location. If they do it you will probally pay a diagnostic fee per unit.

I found this little shop on Davie Road ext. right off of university.... Looks like a cheap place but i heard alot of dolphins players got their systems installed there. I went there just to see whats up n they only carry the high end stuff. (JL Audio, Focal, Boston Acoustics)

Ive been to Sound Advice for a few installs (Not my G though)
I gotta say.....good quality work....if your willing to pay the price

Question for you...Are you running a second battery or some sort of capacitor/alternator upgrade? How is the dimming (if any at all)? I know that 1000/1 draws alot of current.
