I regret spending money on setup, some feedback please
OK, as a shop owner, I have a couple of points.
First off, while we have an explicit return policy, most stores are nowhere near as flexible about this as we are. The reason they're not this flexible is because of people like you, who get excited with a credit card and buy stuff that they shouldn't.
A warranty says it will work. It does NOT say you will like it. You CANNOT return anything under that warranty. You can only get it fixed if it breaks.
Getting your system to sound the way you want it to has NOTHING to do with your ability to pay for what you bought. You don't like how it sounds, that's a service issue that has nothing to do with your ability to pay.
When you talk to your shop, leave your personal financial situation out of it.
BTW, talking to 40-year-old guys who at your age were driving Toyota PUs with 100K+ miles on them, or 68 Datsun 510s, is not going to make any of themn very sympathetic. Personally, I think you need to sell your car, and the gear for your car, and buy a beater until you CAN afford the lifestyle you want to make people think you can afford.

So let me get this correct...you purchased a system for your vehicle 8 months ago; and now you want to return it and get your money back after it has been used for 8 months? You need a serious reality check brother.

Quite honestly, an 18 year old should not be driving around a $35k, 300hp rwd car. This is not out of jealousy (although I was in Kuwait with the USMC when I was 18), it is out of experience.

I concure. If finance is the issue (and it sounds like it is):
1)Sale system (sucks but cut your losses)
2)Transfer balance to 0% and payoff before the intro rate ends
3)If you're having trouble with that how are payments on the G coming? I'm not gonna hate; but if youre having trouble you can find something thats cheaper and still fun. You can find a used Z or s2000 for low 20's at this point. Maybe the new SI or RSX is you really want something new. Depending on how much you still owe you maybe able to get some positve equity on the trade that can go towards paying off step 2).
Good luck...

Ok age has nothing to do with any of this. Im sure you liked the system b4 all your CC debts came up. Im not 100% but man im getting a system myself but my components are used/new but CHEAP b/c I cant afford Brand NEW right now. My car is kind of tricked out but im ok financially and Ive forced myself from partying and going to morongo b/c I cant afford that and I choose to spend it on my car. I wouldnt say sell your car, I wouldnt tell you to sell you system(UNLESS, you really need to) Because SELLING YOUR SYSTEM IS GOING TO DEPRESS YOU MORE BECAUSE YOUR NOT GOING TO GET SHI* FOR IT!. Dude keep it but do what a lotta guys on here are telling you with transferring to a 0% CC. thats the best thing you can do and start selling your personal belongings on ebay... This is a great lesson which you will learn and it will teach you how to deal with similar problems in the future. Deal with it and just pray that everything will be ok. Goodluck!

Funny? uhh welcome to the realworld buddy. Dude hes already depressed for spending soo much so now if he sells for cheap, he'll only get more depressed. People buy material things everyday and all the time to fill in their voids and not to get depressed.
