Rearview rattle
My bass makes my rearview mirror rattle like a bitch right next to my ear, anyone else experience this problem? I am thinking about taking it apart and dynamatting anywhere there are spaces between pieces, when I hold the frame to the mirror the rattling stops.
Has anyone else done anything like this?

My components make it rattle. But there is a TSB out for this. I've just been too lazy to take it by the dealer. They should fix it for free, known problem even if you have the stock sound system. Really is pissing me off!

i found a thread in the coupe forum about a fix for this using silicone that seems much better than the TSB. i think i am going to go that route
I had the same problem so I followed that thread too. Worked perfectly. Now it's as quiet as a sleeping baby.
Here's the thread if anyone wants to check it out.

My quick fix in that thread is still good after more than 6 months.

I tried the quick fix first but it didn't work for me
I used the exact same plastic from some (extremely frustrating) packaging.
The amount of bass I had still made it rattle like a bitch right by my ear.
I took it apart and siliconed all the posts in the back half and around the buttons, then I dyanamatted the face plate edges that rest on the glass.
When I snapped it back it was a really tight fit which was exactly what I wanted. Now it doesen't rattle at all with my bass all the way up (which rattles street signs outside of the car).
